Buying a Case for a Compound Bow

Buying a Case for a Compound Bow

Buying a case for your new compound bow can be a difficult process. There are so many to choose from; so what do people look for when buying a case? You could go with a hard case, a soft case, or a hybrid case that has a hard internal case with a soft outer shell. Here are a few options:

Compound Bow Hard Case

If you are looking for more protection for your bow a hard case might be a great choice for you. Having a hard case, you don’t need to worry about items landing on your case and causing damage to your bow. Also, if you like to travel to go on different bow hunts, a hard case will have more protection on a plane or in the back of a truck traveling to your destination.

Compound Bow Soft Case

Others might like a soft case for the lightweight and the extra pockets to store some of your archery equipment. Although you might not have as much protection as you would a hard case, a soft case is less bulky and is easier to haul around. Soft cases generally have a pocket to store arrows, and will generally have a shoulder strap for easy carrying.

Compound Bow Hybrid Case

Another option is a hybrid case. A hybrid case has a hard internal case with a soft case on the outside with pockets for storage. A hybrid case is a little more bulky than your standard case because of the soft outer shell. Hybrid cases may also come with a shoulder strap for easy carrying. When looking for a new case for your bow it might help to bring your bow into your local archery shop and try out a couple different ones.
