GRO Fall Draw

Highly nutritious annual forage blend. Multi graze species of clovers and brassicas with the sweet winter bulb- rutabaga to provide full season grazing. Ethiopian cabbage is the fastest growing brassica in the industry. This blend is more drought tolerant than traditional brassica blends.

INCLUDES:

  • Berseem Clover
  • Crimson Clover
  • Daikon Radish
  • Rutabaga
  • Winfred Brassica
  • Forage Turnip
  • Ethiopian Cabbage

PLANTING INFO:

  • Seeding Rate: 10-14 lbs. per acre
  • Planting Depth: 1/8-1/4”

PLANTING DATES:

  • North: August 1- Sept 15th
  • Central: August 1-Oct 1
  • South: Sept 1-October 31
  • Herbicides you can you: Clethodim only

PROS:

  • Great early season nutrition
  • Fast Growing
  • Fixates nitrogen for future crops
  • Multi graze.
  • Drought tolerant

CONS:

  • Needs plenty of potassium
  • Not as cold tolerant as frosty delight

NOTES:

Fertilize according to soil test.  Annual forage mix. Can plant in June but would require clipping to encourage fresh regrowth. Best southern zone blend.
